Sean's (of Zoo Motorsport) engine is based on an improved version of the engine Martin used to set both the top speed and caravan tow records. Current developments include the fitment of a modified Skyline gearbox & diff' to allow greater flexibility and stronger gearsets.

BODY SHELL: Std Escort Cosworth. Full weld in roll cage triangulated to suspension pick up points, front fogs replaced witrh RS500 grilles feeding cold air to cone filter and oil cooler. Morrette quad lamps with inner lamp replaced with grilles to feed cold air to cone filter and engine bay. WRC carbon mirrors. Carbon front wings. Rear upper spoiler removed.
FRONT SUSPENSION: Std hubs, rose jointed adjustable compression struts,rose jointed adjustable tca's, AVO coil over front shocks with adjustable platforms, 350LB 2.25in springs, rose jointed adjustable remote mounted ant-roll bar.
REAR SUSPENSION: 6 degree rose jointed rear beam, AVO coil over shocks with 200LB 2.25in springs fully rose jointed incl. rear ant-roll bar.
FRONT BRAKES: Brembo 8 pot calipers, 380MM x 32MM Brembo grovved floating discs, Mintex DS3000 pads with Aeroquip hoses, cold air ducts to brakes from lower front grill.
REAR BRAKES: AP Racing 4 pot callipers, 330MM x 28MM grooved discs, Pagid RS4 pads, Aeroquip hoses, adjustable in car brake bias valve.
REAR DIFF: Quaife torque bias LSD with std ratio, hardened and uprated crown wheel and pinion gear.
FRONT DIFF: Quaife thick walled diff casing, hardened and uprated crown wheel and pinion gear, hardened and uprated planet gears.
GEARBOX: Reyland spec Skyline 2wd/4wd gearbox - electriconic integration by Motorsport Developments. Burton lightened & blanced flywheel. Twin double thickness clutch plates & triple plate cover. Reyland hydraulic actuation.
PROPSHAFTS: Standard Escort Cosworth.
INTERIOR: Fully stripped, sunroof removed. Cobra Ccarbon seats with Sparco 6pt harnesses. STACK rev counter/speedo timer unit, Stack boost gauge, SPA digital gauges for: Oil temp & pressure, water temp, fuel pressure, charge air & exhaust gas temp. gearbox & diff oil temps. All have recall facility.
WHEEL:; Compotmotive 8x18 ET15 wheels, 225 40 18 Continental tyres.
ENGINE: Ford Motorsport 200 block, bored +.25,
Mountune long studs, Cosworth forged pistons with valve pockets, comp ration
7.2:1, balanced
bottom end with matched rods, GRP A oil pump, GRP A Touring Car spec head
with std valve sizes , WRC metal head gasket, Reyland spec billet cams, Isky
double valve springs. RS500 T4 turbo with anti-lag, 247 LH thread anti-lag
shaft & –31 actuator. RS500 turbo damper. 2WD exhaust manifold.
Custom built Tube Torque 4” exhaust system, RS500 intake plenum with
8x (803) injectors, air-air boost control. Genuine RS500 intercooler, Dome
oil breather, oil cooler.
Full Pectel race engine loom with all options. ECU is Pectel T6 2000, with
all options incl. ant-lag, launch control, traction control, dual map capability,
Pectel in-car electronic boost controller, 5 bar MAP sensor.
2x in-tank pumps feeding 2 std Sapph’ Cosworth fuel pumps with 2x -8
supply and return in Aeroquip. Samco boost pipes and K&N cone filter.

NB: car has recently undergone an extensive remapping programme by MotorSport Developments in Blackpool, including the addition of Nitrous Oxide. Results will be added when they have been quantified.
